The Woodland Green Handmade Ceramic Urn is a calm and beautifully crafted urn for keeping ashes at home. Handmade by the same ceramic artist as our Hedgerow Blue urn, it has the warmth and individuality of studio pottery rather than the formal look of a traditional funeral urn.

The rounded shape, soft green glaze and carved natural band give the piece a quiet woodland feel. It is simple, tactile and dignified — a lovely choice for someone who loved the countryside, gardens, walking, nature or handmade craft.

Soft Green Glaze and Carved Detail

The urn has a rich green glaze with subtle variations in tone, moving between moss, olive and blue-green. Around the upper section is a hand-carved decorative band, left in a lighter natural clay colour and marked with repeated leaf-like impressions.

This contrast between the glazed body and the carved band gives the urn texture and depth without making it overly ornate.
