For those seeking something extraordinary, we’ve found a unique and breathtaking way to say goodbye — scattering ashes during a tandem skydive. It’s a powerful, emotional, and truly unforgettable tribute that combines exhilaration with deep meaning.

You’ll experience the thrill of freefall while securely attached to a highly experienced instructor. The tandem parachute is specially designed for two people, allowing you to focus on the moment and the meaning behind it. After a short pre-jump briefing, you’ll be fitted with a skydiver’s jumpsuit, headgear, and goggles — just wear comfortable clothes underneath.

Your aircraft climbs to around 13,000 feet (that’s roughly two and a half miles high). Together with your instructor, you’ll fall out into open sky, reaching speeds of up to 120 mph. The freefall lasts about 40 seconds, before the parachute opens at around 5,000 feet. From there, you’ll glide gently back to earth — scattering the ashes as you descend — surrounded by incredible views across the Suffolk countryside. The in air experience lasts around six minutes, but the memory will stay with you forever.

The company has sites in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, England, and is fully affiliated with the British Skydiving. All tandem instructors are qualified British Skydiving Tandem Instructors with extensive freefall experience. You’ll receive clear guidance and full safety support throughout the session.

The price is £210 for a midweek skydive and £260 for a weekend. Photo and video option also available from £139.

This is truly a send-off you’ll never forget — a fitting celebration of life, spirit, and freedom.

After your jump, you can record your ceremony on The Ashes Register, creating a lasting record of this remarkable tribute.
