Ashes Water Ceremony
Water burials are a very dignified way to conduct a ashes ceremony, so if you wish you can cast petals, put last words on our promises notelets.
We consider these urns more suitable for deeper water below the low tide line. Please see our page on general guidance for ceremonies or river or the sea.
Finally, it is sensible idea to record where you conducted the ceremony for future generations, if you are on a boat the skipper can tell you your exact location. The location can be recorded on one of our scattering record

A word of thanks to you for suggesting the larger Rock Salt urn, I can happily tell you it travelled intact with me to Co.Dublin & once there accommodated both sets of ashes & gave a lovely dignity to our little ceremony into the sea. Many thanks again & continued success with your business.

Many thanks for arranging the deliver at such short notice on Friday. The urn recommended was just perfect, if a little heavy. We carried out the ceremony this afternoon and the helmsman was really pleased that I was able to give him your description of the urn just in case anyone queried placing the urn in the water. Regards,Jo
