The ‘Stand in Memory’ is designed to hold the ashes of a loved one in such a discreet way that only you know the ashes are in there. The stand is hollow and can house up to two sets of ashes (held in scatter tubes). Once the ashes are in the urn the top can be sealed or left unsealed for a second set if required.
This completely discreet urn has many uses, if can hold a photo of your loved one, it can be put in the corner of a room with a reading lamp on top. It looks beautiful with a plant or flower on top and by placing flowers on the stand it is a way of paying tribute in the same way that you would do when you visit a grave.
The other great advantage of the Stand in Memory is that if you move home in it can be taken with you.
The stand is made in solid natural hardwood, stands 750mm high, weights 13 kg and has either a beautiful high gloss finish in either natural wood or white, making it a substantial piece of furniture.
Keeping the ashes
Many people keep their loved one’s ashes at home, some because they are not sure what to do with them, some because they are not yet ready to do something with them and some simply want to keep them close by, in the house. Sometimes, very well meaning, friends will give advice such as ‘it’s time to move on’ or ‘you’ll feel better if you scatter/bury them’. But only you will know how you feel with the loss of your loved one and only you will know when and if the time is right to do something else with the ashes. Until then these urns can keep the ashes safely at home without you having to explain your reasons to anyone, if someone admires the stand it is up to you whether you tell them or not.
