Scattering Ashes on the River Thames in Central London

|Refreshments||Refreshments are available from a cafe at the pier entrance, with a lovely view of the Houses of Parliament across the river. Bar facilities can be arranged on the large boat for an additional charge of £60 and drinks are sold at normal pub prices.|

Monday to Friday £160 for up to 1 hour
Saturday or Sunday: £210 for up to 1 hour
For 10-30 passengers you would need to hire the ‘River Princess’ which costs:
Monday to Friday £480 for up to 1 hour
Saturday or Sunday: £560 for up to 1 hour
For 30-50 passengers you would need to hire the ‘River Princess’ which costs – (Currently the max is 30):
Monday to Friday £510 for up to 1 hour
Saturday or Sunday: £590 for up to 1 hour

|Getting there||Lambeth Pier is just by Lambeth Bridge, opposite Lambeth Palace on the South side of the river.|
At the top of the embankment you will see a cafe. Walk down the side of the cafe, down the walk-way onto the pier.
From Waterloo Station: take bus 507 at a bus stop at the back of the station, where the taxis are. This will take you directly to Lambeth Palace which is opposite the Pier “ Lambeth Pier” the stop after St. Thomas’s Hospital).
From Westminster Station: Walk over Westminster Bridge and turn right along the river (away from the London Eye). It is a 5-10 minute walk before you reach Lambeth Pier, which is just by Lambeth Bridge.
|Parking||There are pay and display bays on Lambeth High Street. At the Lambeth Bridge roundabout, turn down Lambeth Palace Road, then immediately turn right onto Lambeth High Street (which does not look like a High Street)|

|Suitable urn||Scattering ashes directly onto the water can lead to them being blown about which some families may find distressing.
