we went to Whitby on Sunday 16th June 2019 to place my wifes ashes in the sea as she wished. skipper Rich Ward clearly explained where we needed to be and at what time to board the boat. he helped to get me on the boat as im now 81 but he was pleased to do so. when we got to the point where the ceremony was to take place he said you can take as long as you need. he was very knowledgeable and respectful making what was a sad event pleasurable. thank you RICH.
Hi Malcolm,
Sorry for the delayed reply. It was my pleasure to help you with your scattering on the 16th June. These are always quite sad events and we do try to make the trip as pleasurable for everyone as we can.
Kind regards
Rich
Just a short note to thank you again for your helpful site.
Last Sunday we took our boat trip with skipper Rich Ward from Whitby to scatter my parents’ ashes on what would have been their wedding anniversary. Rich was lovely and helpful from first to last, so thank you for putting us in contact with him. I’m sure anyone else who finds Rich on your site will have a similarly positive experience.
